David Tua wins in New York:

David Tua defeated Robert Hawkins at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City by points over ten rounds.

Scorecards were 96-94, 99-91, 96-94.

Both fighters weighed in at 241 pounds.

This was the fifth straight win for David Tua on his comeback trail and he has reaffirmed that he is aiming for the heavyweight Championship.
